W ithin 3 mins of kick off Boro were 1 nill down from a scrambled goalmouth mele'e, Caulkin did well to save 3 or 4 good repetative shots but the last one crept in. Boro as they say were cought cold, ......... being in yorkshire this isn't surprising . First 15mins Boro were finding their feet as Garforth closed down very quickly, looking for what they thought was going to be a foregon win. Boro soon had other ideas as they picked up the pace and played some great football on the break resulting in the best well worked goal of the game, a great Ricardo cross zipped across the goalmouth to be finished well by an unmarked Checuti. 1....1 HT. 2nd half Garforth passed the ball about well down the flanks but Boro's defence coped well with everything, giving Caulkin little to do. Boro to had got their act together and were looking dangerous every time they pushed forward, balls were spread wing to wing with aplomb and were giving every indication that Boro were in the ascendancy. A loose ball was won in the box and duly laid back for Reece Kelly to drive into the bottom corner from 20yds out, great play and a great finish. Garforth tried hard but to no avail, Boro were resolute in defence and deserved the win. The dreaded 92nd,,93rd,,94th min ticked away as the Boro supporters were screaming at the referee as to where he was getting the extra fergie time from but apparently his watch,, not being local to york..brrrrrrr..shire weather had frozen solid
