On the unofficial forum last night, I had the audacity to suggest that as we are now entering a new era and in view of the fact that a/ we really don't have enough supporters to warrant two forums. b/ both forums tend to replicate the same information. c/ the offficial forum should now be the only means by which we should exchange messages/banter/online info. d/ the only people to be affected by this would be those unable to log on to the official forum. As a result of this, my post has been deleted and I have been banned from the forum How sad that the "powers that be" on there have an inability to address an issue that several supporters have raised, without simply resorting to brushing it under the mat, getting rid of the mouthpiece and hopefully moving on to concentrate on just guessing crowds, which is seemingly the only purpose of this alternative forum. Very sad and equally, very pathetic. I always thought that the purpose of ANY forum was to bring to a head the topics and issues that true supporters thought were of relevance to the subject concerned, in this instance: Radcliffe Borough FC. -this seems not to be the case. I would suggest that all true supporters of the club who feel that fair discussion is something that should be open to anyone, should cease to post on the unofficial forum as the administrators thereof have an inability to understand this.

Totally agree with you, Boroshop.....however you missed the point of the unofficial site (according to one person)....the official site is only for "yes men", the unofficial site is for everyone!!!!!!....that's why it is so popular!!!

If I recall as well from a few years ago - wasn't it you that wanted/ suggested that we had a Unofficial Forum?
EDIT
This has appeared on the Unofficial Forum as well. Seeing as you are banned Dave I may as well post it here...
(Quote made from 18yardbox Dave) I always thought that the purpose of ANY forum was to bring to a head the topics and issues that true supporters thought were of relevance to the subject concerned, in this instance: Radcliffe Borough FC. -this seems not to be the case. 1st Point: New Era? Your the one still coming on forums and saying the same things to the same people (cant let go can we) 2nd Point: Yeah both forums do replicate the same infomation becouse its THE SAME FOOTBALL CLUB 3rd Point: If the Offical forum became accessable for all then i would use it. Why should i give all my personal details to the club? Im not buying anything. 4th Point: i agree with that one.
Finally you have been banned, becouse all you ever do on this forum is cause arguments and pick on the same people (no doubt you will accuse that mike that this is him. No this is Dave) and the fact that you can be controlled on this one and cant get away with your ludicrous comments sometimes here. And True supporters? You abandoned the supporters club and let it die, and now becouse a certain somebody has left the club your suddenly interested in the club again. (im sure i speak on behalf of a lot of supporters you wont be missed)

No Dave its not the point of the Unofficial Forum being communist - its the Fans starting to respond to the club. If you recall the meeting not only 2 weeks ago you will remember the 1st thing I said. "The Club needs to reach out to the community again, lets forget all that has happened and start again, a new era" in which Bernard responded on a positive note. This is how Football Clubs on this level need to be ran, over the last 5 years we have gone from having a average of 300 fans to 120 fans a week. now most of this will be from the relegation but constant arguements will also have its factor. Now Kevin (not saying in anyway, shape or form that he is responsible for these arguments, that is not my style) has left the club, this is a perfect chance to start again from scratch to stop these arguments and for the fans and club to work together to build the community spirit of the club up and maybe even start to take the club back to where we were 5 seasons ago.
Now that fans are starting to help the club out more (Robson who ran the club shop until he took his new job at Old Trafford making it impossible for him to continue, Myself trying to help Dave Chalmers into his new role on the match day side as well as trying to run some fundraising events including the Companies Tournament and as soon as the coach is finished looking into running a race-night, even some of the ASBO's and Ballboys are trying to help out more by helping with Lucky 7's along with MCFC,Ivan,Paul Rushden and Dave Booth also increasing their involvement in the club. If I forgot anyone then I apologise) you seem to be slying away from having a interest in the club. You have not shown any interest in the coach even though you have been asked if you wish to travel, You Dont seem to have a drink inside the clubhouse, After asking me to takeover the Guess the Crowd from this season you have not taken part in, You repeatedly make negative comments about other teams using our pitch for their home games (Blackburn Ladies springs to mind) in which is bringing some income to the club and now you are calling the people who use the Unofficial Forum, some members of which are loyal fans to the club, that they use the unofficial forum to make negative comments about the club. This is not true. Most people use the Unofficial Forum as a alternate to this forum for the people who do not wish to give their personal details about themselves, which is why most of the forum is repetitive. Or are you saying that the Unofficial Forum should not be allowed to know certain information?
In my opinion your comments that you have made on the Unofficial Forum are worse of those that Roy made on the forums. However I dont think it is right to ask any fan to leave the club. especially one with a Son who has a keen interest in the club, That just would not be fair on Tom. But I would severely think about what you are saying. I mean as a user of the Unofficial Forum I find it insulting that you have just called me "Communist". I know I hang about with Robson and Mike Penswick but I dont always share their thoughts and they know I dont. I also refuse to side with anyone in arguments about the club and am usually a ture follower in Dave Johnston's "Don't have anything nice to say" method on this or any forum, including the Facebook page I run in the clubs name, But I have had to say this.
Now I think you have a few apologies to make personally. There is more than myself and 18Yardboxdave (which is not Mike Penswick by the way, but if Dave is reading thanks for helping my Ballboys out recently.) you have offended in the last week. You are welcome to speak to me whenever you want but if you just want to slag me off then go ahead, it just proves my point.
