Change of formation, 2 new players, played great attacking football, what a diffrence, won 1 nill but that DOES NOT reflect the way or chances we created, some great saves from the Harrogate goalie etc, could have been 4 or 5 easily. Much Much better, great game to watch,...................................that's if your a Boro fan

The real pleasing thing that came out of last nights performance was the way we approached the game. A double Harrogate save in the first minute showed the Boro's intentions from the off. More followed courtesy off some great deliveries and Boro looked well in control, i don't think anyone expected Boro to go in to half time with a nill nill scoreline the way we were playing. 2nd half started the same with some neat flowing football for Boro, midfield backed up the strikers and played farther up the pitch. As i said on the quicky post, fomation change, the 2 new players, the movement and understanding up front were all on show and being thoroughly productive as we slotted in a well worked goal from a by line cross. For 15 mins or so Harrogate had a bright spell but as through all the match defence coped admirably. Last 10 mins after weathering the storm, Boro were creating again and showing no intentions off letting this one escape. A great passing move late on should have produced a fine goal and a worthy one but one touch to many and another went begging. A fine match with LOTS of OOH'S and AHH'S thingamybobs and watsits for the Boro supporters to enjoy. Let's hope we continue this way, it was BRILL, ENTRTAINING, PRODUCTIVE, THRILLING, SATISFYING,...............................will someone please get me a cold towel.
