After overnight rain the pitch was described as soft this morning but it is now raining there.
There will be an initial pitch inspection at around 3-30pm and if unfit will be postponed. If fit and the rain continues the Referee will arrive at the ground at about 5-30pm when another inspection will take place.

Just had a call from Salford and it is playable at this point in time.
As long as there is no rain it should be ok. The referee will be arriving at about 5-30pm where another inspection will take place.

Best of luck to the team tonight, could do with a win and kick start a long unbeaten run, was looking at Mossley's results earlier and they went on a 14 game unbeaten run which coincidently started against The Boro with a scrapy 1-0 cup win. I'd take that tonight.
Good luck.

Yeesh--I think the major difference between the USA and England is: when it rains in America we know it will eventually stop.
