Following a frank and open discussion between supporters of the club on Thursday, it was pretty obvious that no-one had either the desire nor ability to take over the running of the club, as everyone present was happy (apart from a few niggly things !)with the way the club was being run. Furthermore, everyone present was eager to meet with the current management of the club to see how we could remove the wedge that currently seems to exist between the supporters of the club and the management to enable us to move on. Having reported this to the management, they fully understand our position and following their board meeting on 30th November, will issue a statement as to how we can move forward. With regard to the future of the supporters club, several options were discussed, however we felt that it would be best to await the forthcoming club statement prior to making any future plans. However.......following a conversation today.....Graham Evans and myself, despite not being able to commit as much time as we have done previously, have decided that we would be prepared to take on a joint chairman role of the supporters club to develop promotional events in the future for the benefit of both the football club and our supporters......but only if you want us ?
